We use Simi Motion software as a teaching tool in our Masters Degree course in Applied Sports Biomechanics. We find having an image-based motion analysis tool particularly beneficial for collecting data in diverse environments using simple data collection devices, like mobile phones.

We use those for our undergraduate students (Sports Performance, Equine Sports Therapy, Animal Therapy, Canine Therapy and Veterinary Physiotherapy) and postgraduate students (Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy) in practical lessons, assignments and for the data collection for their dissertations.
Having recently acquired F-Scan (in-shoe pressure measurement), our biomechanical analysis range has improved and the flexibility of the system allows us to measure not only in-foot pressure, but pressure under different pieces of equestrian/canine equipment. Furthermore, we have been using the Tekscan pressure walkway for gait analysis in human, horses, dogs, and sheep.
