Medical tape remains one of the last vestiges of antiquated thinking, in its multi-patient use and it should be brought into alignment with existing guidance on infection control precaution measures. Including reuse, cleaning and disinfection of medical devices, established by organisations such as ECDC, PHE, RKI, WHO.
