Description
OneStep Cleargel is a novel conductive gel to improve signal quality in electrophysiological examinations.
Due to its special composition, OneStep Cleargel has a unique texture compared to other conductive gels and thus guarantees excellent conductivity.
OneStep Cleargel is particularly suitable for use with cap systems, cup electrodes and ECG and EMG examinations in which a conductive gel improves the signals.
Product Advantages
Since OneStep Cleargel contains no fat, alcohol or dyes, it is easy to wash out, skin-friendly and odorless. This achieves a high level of acceptance among users and patients. In contrast to alcohol-containing or liquid EEG preparations, good and long-lasting conductivity (no evaporation of the alcohol content) as well as point application to the scalp (semi-solid gel) is guaranteed. This ensures optimal measurement results. Due to these excellent physical properties, OneStep Cleargel is suitable for performing routine EEG as well as for deriving long-term EEG, evoked potentials and nerve conduction velocities applicable.
Application
The ready-to-use gel is simply drawn up using a syringe with a blunt needle and injected into the electrodes or applied to the areas where electrodes are placed (EMG, ECG). To reduce resistance, skin preparation is recommended beforehand. After the examination, the hoods or electrodes are simply cleaned according to the respective care instructions. Any gel residue in the patient’s hair can either be cleaned with a little water or, after drying, with a comb or brush to remove.
